Raised bog is rising above the surface like a sponge absorbing the rain water. Wooded mire is something that makes you feel disorientated and enchanted. Peat moss floating mat is the most fragile surface to stand on, wet and soft. Bog pond. It's water body connects to yours. Hollows. A place to grow, die and decompose creating more layers of peat.
